The Wilmington Center for the Study of Local Landscape is the culmination of the Fall 2013 Art & Community Visual Arts Residency Program at the DCCA, where three months of investigation and inquiry are presented to the public in an exhibition as Part I of Little White Cubes. Visitors are invited to explore the archival materials, photographs, found objects, writings and ephemera; all collected and catalogued by artist Matthew Jensen and the founding members of the WCSLL. Numerous historical discoveries and hidden local landmarks are brought to light in the installation.
