Art Salad - DCCA artist in residence Sonja Hinrichsen will her discuss her work as well as her time as an visiting artist in Wilmington. Hinrichsen received an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2001. She has also studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Stuttgart, Germany. She has shown her work both nationally and internationally, including in Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland. She has also received several awards, including a fellowship from the Elizabeth Ireland Graves Foundation and a Dale Djerassi Fellowship.

Art Salad - Artist Creighton Michael (Mt. Kisco, NY) will discuss his exhibition at the DCCA, on view May 14 August 17. Michael holds a BFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an MA in Art History from Vanderbilt University and an MFA in painting and multimedia from Washington Univeristy in St. Lous.
